Forward takes on Airfloat

Forward has recently become Eastern Canada agent for the Airfloat line of materials handling and air bearing equipment. This is a very innovative and exciting product line. Their line of Air Bearing moving and Materials Handling Products are innovative and timely with their low energy and high performance capabilities. There is no more effecient or easy way to move heavy loads in production or research facilities than air bearings. Riding on a film of low pressure compressed air these low coefficient of friction, omni directional products out perform every other method of moving heavy weights. Provided your floor conditions and air supply are suitable this product can easily out perform, casters, fork trucks, overhead cranes in performing heavy weight moves in a safe fast and energy effecient manner.

Engine test cell door baffles weighing 30000 lbs glide open and closed on Airfloat Air Bearing Platforms. When the client needed a fast effecient way to support and open/close these massive baffle doors weighing 30000lbs each and more than twelve feet thick, Airfloat was the obvious choice.  

Forward now stocks ASG Jergens assembly tools and production aids, including the 900 series tape dispensers.

Forward continues to evolve and add exciting new products to our portfolio of production and manufacturing aids and machinery.We now stock Hilman skids and rollers for heavy load moving on floors unsuitable for air bearing skids. Also we now distribute Marken Manufacturing line of hydraulic crimping and skiving machines.
